Newport Beach Country Club is looking for a Training Coordinator to help create an exceptional experience for our team members from the moment they join our Club. In this role, you'll welcome new team members, facilitate onboarding, coordinate training, create training materials, support employee engagement, and help keep programs organized and running smoothly. You'll also provide administrative support to Human Resources and other departments as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone with HR, training, or administrative experience who enjoys working with people and wants to continue developing their skills in a high-end hospitality environment. What You'll Do Help New Team Members Succeed Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation Help create a welcoming and engaging experience for every new team member Support the Club's onboarding program and ongoing training initiatives Conduct Club tours and introduce new team members to our culture, standards, and departments Coordinate Learning & Development Schedule and coordinate training sessions and programs Track participation and maintain accurate training records Create and organize presentations, training materials, guides, and internal resources Help develop engaging training communications and learning materials Work with leaders throughout the Club to support departmental training needs Support Our Team Help coordinate team member engagement activities and recognition programs Serve as an approachable resource for team member questions and general support Assist with day-to-day Human Resources administrative functions Provide administrative support to other departments as needed What We're Looking For 1-3 years of training, HR or administrative experience is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Friendly, approachable, and passionate about helping others succeed Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Canva experience is a plus Schedule & Physical Requirements Primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays based on Club needs Ability to walk throughout the Club while conducting tours, facilitating onboarding, and supporting training across multiple departments Ability to stand and move throughout portions of the workday Ability to lift and carry training materials and supplies up to 25 pounds Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor areas of the Club Why You'll Love Working Here At Newport Beach Country Club, we believe exceptional member experiences begin with exceptional team members.
