Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Staffing Assistant performs daily staffing functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures, processes future schedules for assigned unit(s) and assists the Supervisor of Staffing with record maintenance and all other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure/Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge:
Understanding of acute care hospital staffing practices desired Understanding of wage and hour laws desired Basic computer knowledge is required, familiarity with staffing software desirable
Skills:
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required. Superior problem-solving skills in the face of rapidly changing priorities; high degree of reliability and accuracy are required. The ability to think creatively, work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions; work with minimal or no supervision and to effectively prioritize work are required.
