Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations for a manufacturing organization in Sanger California. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating employee processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing dependable administrative support across HR activities. The role will contribute to onboarding efforts, employee relations support, and HR information management while helping the team stay organized and responsive.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate onboarding activities by preparing onboarding materials, scheduling required steps, and helping employees complete pre-employment documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee records within HR information systems, ensuring data is accurate, current, and properly organized.
  • Support background screening processes by tracking status, following up on outstanding items, and documenting results for HR files.
  • Assist with day-to-day HR administration, including preparing forms, handling routine inquiries, and supporting internal HR workflows.
  • Provide basic employee relations support by escalating concerns appropriately, documenting interactions, and helping maintain consistent communication.
  • Help monitor compliance with staffing and personnel documentation requirements by reviewing files for completeness and accuracy.
  • Partner with HR staff to support process improvements and administrative tasks related to HR systems and onboarding activities.
