HR Leave Administrator Sacramento, CA Full-Time | Monday

00 per hour A respected public sector organization is seeking an experienced HR Leave Administrator to support a dynamic Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong leave administration experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Primary Focus of the
Assignment:
The primary responsibility of this position will be supporting Leave Administration in compliance with all State and Federal laws.
Responsibilities include:
Providing guidance to employees, supervisors, and management regarding leave of absence situations Administering and ensuring compliance with FMLA, CFRA, and other statutory leave programs Assisting with leave tracking, balances, and documentation Reviewing confidential employee records and work histories Coordinating with senior staff, legal representatives, and internal departments Making recommendations regarding statutory leave matters and processes
Additional Responsibilities:
Coordinate recruitment and selection activities Support employee benefits administration and employee inquiries Maintain HRIS data integrity and assist with payroll-related functions Conduct research, reporting, and HR project support Interpret policies, labor agreements, and employment regulations Prepare reports, correspondence, and HR documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor' s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, or closely related field Minimum three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following: Recruitment/selection Benefits administration Pension administration Leave administration HRIS administration Classification/compensation Position control Human resources project implementation Public sector experience preferred Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including
Word and Excel Ideal Candidate:
Strong understanding of federal and state leave laws Excellent analytical and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Effective communicator with strong customer service abilities Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a professional environment Why Apply?
