JOB DESCRIPTION

- The HR position is for a busy agriculture and food manufacturing company. Looking for an energetic and customer service oriented individual to work in a very fast paced environment. A typical day would be managing company's leave of absences, scheduling new hires for orientation, reviewing new hire forms for completion and accuracy, conducting job interviews, and communicating with department managers to address their staffing needs. Job Responsibilities to includes but is not limited to: Reviews benefits with all new employees; answers ongoing benefit questions. Mediates problems between facility personnel and healthcare plan(s), working with the provider and the employee to resolve problems. Assists and coordinates the procurement of all Federal and California mandated leaves. Records employee complaints, grievances and other issues. Mediates conflicts between employees and management to resolve misunderstandings, facilitate communication to promote effective working relationships. Screening a high volume of employment applications to match the right candidates to fill positions with a growing food production company. This position requires versatility to maintain professional and effective relationships with new hires to enhance employee retention. Field day-to-day employee questions and concerns to forward to HR Manager. Preparing on-boarding materials as needed for new hires. Conducts New Hire Orientation. Maintains confidential personnel, employees, recruitment records, and files. Managing sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes. Planning and protecting the security of employee information, data and files. Responding to and putting through various queries from managers and employees, and from other agencies or departments. Interpreting, assisting and advising employees and managers regarding policy and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Assist and assures company is in compliance with state and federal mandatory notices and regulations. Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have at least 3 - 5 years' experience in a HR Position. Must have High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bilingual in English and Spanish

REQUIRED

; Prefer some college or other formal training in Human Resources. Prefer previous HR Experience in an agriculture company.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
