Job Description
Job Summary A food and beverage production organization in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking an HR Risk & Leave Administrator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented Human Resources professional who enjoys supporting employee safety, compliance, leave administration, and day-to-day HR operations. The HR Risk & Leave Administrator will play an important role in coordinating workplace injury reporting, safety documentation, leave of absence tracking, and communication between employees, supervisors, HR leadership, payroll, benefits, medical providers, and external vendors. - Coordinate employee work injuries, vehicle accidents, and company equipment accidents, including timely reporting, documentation, and investigation support.
- Maintain accurate safety records, accident documentation, and related compliance materials for the Risk & Safety department.
- Support workplace safety initiatives by identifying opportunities to reduce injuries, accidents, and health-related risks.
- Administer and track employee leaves of absence, including workers' compensation, FMLA, CFRA, required documentation, timelines, benefits coordination, and return-to-work processes.
- Communicate with employees, supervisors, HR leadership, payroll, benefits, medical providers, and external vendors to ensure timely and compliant leave administration.
- Provide general HR administrative support while maintaining confidentiality and delivering a high level of customer service. Compensation and Benefits
