That means controlling access, running patrols, monitoring cameras, and making sure nothing gets missed on your watch. Day to day, the job looks like this: Patrol the property on scheduled routes. Know what normal looks like so you spot what doesn't belong. Write clear, accurate incident and hourly reports using our mobile reporting app. If something happens, you document it. Every time. Control access points. Verify IDs, sign in visitors, and make sure only authorized people get through. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems. Report anything unusual to your supervisor immediately. Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and alarms. Stay calm, follow protocol, call it in. Provide professional customer service to employees, and visitors. You're the face of security at this site. What We Require Active BSIS Guard Card (California). This is non-negotiable. If your card is expired, suspended, or pending, we cannot move forward until it's current. Valid government-issued photo ID. Reliable transportation to South Gate. You need to show up on time, every shift. Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift). Clear verbal and written communication skills in English. You will be writing reports. Clean background. You'll go through a background check as a condition of employment. What We Prefer (Not Required, But It Helps) 1+ years of security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience. Bilingual English/Spanish. CPR/First Aid certification. Familiarity with patrol apps, digital reporting tools, or CCTV systems.

17.27/hour, paid biweekly. Your schedule is your schedule. We don't shuffle you around week to week. You'll know your days, your hours, and your post. Stability matters, and we respect that. Supervisor support, 24/7. You will always have someone to call. Whether it's 2 PM or 2 AM, there's a supervisor on the line. You will never be left alone to figure out a bad situation without backup. We cover your training. BSIS annual refresher training is on us. We also offer pathways to additional certifications (baton, pepper spray, armed permit) for guards who want to grow. Uniforms provided. We issue company shirts and a jacket, black pants, you may provide your own black belt, and all black shoes. Real advancement. Our field supervisors started as guards. If you want to move into a lead officer or supervisor role, we'll help you get there. This is not a dead-end post.
