The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a high degree of discretion, and a genuine passion for supporting people. What You'll Be Doing Talent Acquisition Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, with a focus on engaging active candidates in the mental health industry and proactively sourcing passive candidates. Conduct phone and video screening interviews; coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and candidates. Administer pre-employment background screenings and ensure timely, compliant completion. Maintain and optimize applicant tracking to ensure a high-quality, efficient candidate experience. Administration Track and follow up on mandatory compliance training for all employees to ensure regulatory requirements are met. Execute employee administrative onboarding & offboarding, including systems access, equipment return coordination, and documentation. Facilitate new hire orientation schedule logistics and host day one company-level orientation. Maintain accurate and organized employee files in compliance with applicable recordkeeping requirements. Act as a knowledgeable and approachable resource for employees, responding to People Ops related questions with accuracy and care. Escalate personnel matters as appropriate. Support
HRIS/HCM
systems administration to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. Collaborate with the Director of People Operations to execute systems configuration and workflow updates. Payroll Administration Conduct accurate timesheet reviews prior to each pay cycle, following up with employees and managers as needed. Review and respond to expense reimbursement requests in accordance with company policy. Process payroll using the Gusto payroll system, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Serve as a first point of contact for payroll-related employee inquiries, escalating discrepancies to the Director of People Operations and Practice Manager as needed. Employee Engagement & Culture Partner with the Director of People Operations to execute and aggregate data from employee engagement initiatives, including engagement surveys, exit surveys, and stay surveys. Support the planning and coordination of virtual and in-person team building events, partnering with the Executive Assistant to facilitate the latter. Contribute to recognition programs and other initiatives that reinforce a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Office Administration Coordinate device setup, shipment, and tracking; maintain accurate records of device assignments. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment reflective of our company values. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of People Operations, as relevant to the full employee lifecycle and office maintenance. What You'll Bring A love for people and creating a positive workplace culture. 2+ years of HR generalist experience (SHRM/HRCI certified a plus) Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting and candidate sourcing experience Experience processing payroll; familiarity with Gusto is a plus. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. High degree of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to build trust across a dispersed workforce. Knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance requirements preferred.
