Human Resources Coordinator 7009 South Potomac Street, Centennial, CO 80112 $26.44 - $28.84 an hour - Full-time $26.44 - $28.84 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are a growing construction company seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our team. This role will support hiring, onboarding, compliance, record keeping, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, is highly organized, and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will interact daily with employees, vendors, and visitors so professionalism and a helpful approach are essential. OBJECTIVES/ACTIVITIES
Recruiting & HR Administrative Tasks Post job openings for internal and external recruitment Coordinate interviews with panels and candidates Collecting all interview notes and keeping interview files Organize training sessions Administer HR reports (hiring, attrition, attendance, PTO, performance, etc.) Onboarding & Employee Documentation Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires. Ensure all pre-employment documentation is completed prior to employee start date following the new employee onboarding checklist. Facilitate completion of employment eligibility verification (Form I-9), including notary services as required Coordinate background checks and drug screenings through third-party vendors Maintain accurate and complete employee records in designated systems (e.g., SharePoint) Employee Support & HR Coordination Serve as the first point of contact for basic HR-related questions, including: PTO processes Benefits enrollment navigation General policy guidance Direct and escalate complex or sensitive matters (e.g., employee relations, compensation inquiries, policy exceptions) to management or HR leadership Support communication of HR processes and updates as needed Speak to HR related sections of company meetings and functions. Training & Compliance Tracking • Maintain tracking systems for required employee training and certifications, including: Safety training Client/site-specific requirements HR compliance training N e w hire 30/60/90-day plans Employee Career Mapping Annual Employee Reviews Monitor compliance status across all employees and maintain accurate records Notify managers of upcoming or overdue training requirements Prepare periodic compliance reports for leadership Client Badging & Site Access Coordination Serve as the company point of contact for client badging and site access requirements Collect, review, and submit required documentation for employee badging applications Coordinate directly with client representatives to facilitate approvals and resolve issues Track badging status and maintain accurate records of site access credentials to ensure employee badging access does not expire. Schedule appointments and ensure timely completion of badging requirements Records Management & Administrative Support Maintain organized, secure, and compliant employee files Ensure document accuracy, completeness, and proper retention practices Support internal audits, insurance audits, and compliance reviews as requested Maintain personnel files and HRIS with accuracy Assist with continuous improvement of HR workflows and documentation processes Ensure all employee documents and kept private in secure folders and perform periodic assessments to assist in verifying compliance. Performance Expectations Operates within defined processes and procedures Does not interpret policy or make independent HR decisions Escalates issues requiring judgment, discretion, or policy interpretation Maintains strict confidentiality of employees and company information Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferr 1-3 years of administrative or coordination experience (HR experience preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and confidentiality Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Professional communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to pass a background check Ability to obtain and maintain Notary Public certification Maintain valid driver's license Preferred Experience in construction or field-based workforce environments Familiarity with HR processes, onboarding, or compliance tracking Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook) Continuous improvement orientationPay:
