Job Description
Job Overview Boulder Foods is looking for a Temporary HR & Recruiting Assistant to provide support with onboarding, employee setup, and first-day coordination. This is a 1-month contract position that will work closely with our HR/Recruiting team and provide hands-on support to new employees. This position is designed to support our HR/Recruiting team during a period of high hiring activity. You will work directly under HR/Recruiting and help make sure new employees are properly set up, prepared for their first day, and have the information and resources they need to get started successfully. Duties Assist with entering and maintaining new hire information in Paychex. Assist with completing and entering I-9 and onboarding information accurately and timely. Prepare employee keys, schedules, and other items needed for new hires. Help coordinate new employees on their first day and make sure they know where to go and who to report to. Assist employees with basic onboarding questions and direct questions to HR when needed. Help organize new hire paperwork and employee records. Support the recruiting and HR team with administrative tasks as needed. Communicate with supervisors regarding new hire schedules and first-day needs. Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information. Provide general administrative support to the HR/Recruiting department. Skills Previous experience in HR, recruiting, onboarding, or administrative support preferred. Comfortable working with computers and entering information accurately. Ability to learn and navigate systems such as Paychex. Strong attention to detail and organization. Good communication and customer service skills. Comfortable working with new employees and answering basic questions. Able to work independently while also taking direction from the HR/Recruiting team.
