Job Description
Job Summary We are a Hotel Ownership and Management group. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our corporate office team and drive our HR initiatives forward. In this vital role, you will coordinate a wide range of human resources activities, ensuring seamless HR operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. Your energetic approach and strategic mindset will support talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and workforce management, helping us attract, develop, and retain top talent. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational success through effective HR practices and innovative solutions. Duties Manage talent acquisition processes including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), screening canidates online and scheduling interviews, and supporting onboarding activities. Administer benefits programs, payroll processing, workers' compensation claims, and ensure compliance with employment & labor laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and affirmative action planning. Handle confidential information with integrity while managing personnel administration tasks including contracts, data entry, and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) updates. Facilitate employee relations by addressing concerns promptly, managing conflict resolution efforts, and promoting a positive work environment. Assist in regulatory compliance management by ensuring adherence to employment law in talent management practices and maintaining accurate HR documentation. Assisting with and Compiling Information for Unemployment claims, Workers' Comp and other sesitive HR and office tasks. Skills Hotel Background is a big plus Extensive knowledge of human capital management principles and best practices in HR sourcing, recruitment, and personnel administration. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis), HR systems (such as Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors), and data collection tools for effective reporting. Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels, conducting interviews, training sessions, and providing clear guidance on policies. Deep understanding of employment & labor law compliance including FMLA regulations and HR legal standards. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating strong organizational design skills. Experience with benefits administration, payroll processing, performance management systems, and workforce planning strategies.
