This is a key administrative role supporting both the financial and human resources functions of our established, modern multi-specialty dental practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable handling confidential financial and employee information. You will work closely with practice leadership and play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting our team, administering employee benefits, and helping ensure our administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently. Accounting & Bookkeeping Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions Maintain accurate financial records and account reconciliations Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Review and categorize financial transactions Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related reporting Monitor expenses and cash flow Prepare financial reports for practice leadership Assist with month-end and year-end closing Maintain organized financial records and documentation Work with outside accountants, payroll providers, and financial partners Identify discrepancies and assist with financial process improvements Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information Human Resources Responsibilities Serve as an administrative resource for employees and leadership Maintain confidential employee personnel files and HR records Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes Assist with new-hire paperwork Manage employee documentation and employment records Coordinate employee benefits administration Assist employees with questions regarding benefits and enrollment Manage benefit enrollments, changes, and annual open enrollment Coordinate health, dental, vision, life insurance, and other employee benefits Maintain PTO, attendance, and employee records Assist with employee policy and handbook updates Help ensure required employment documentation and HR processes are maintained Coordinate with payroll and benefits providers Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee matters What We're Looking For 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, HR, or related administrative experience Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles Experience with payroll and employee benefits administration Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Strong Excel and computer skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Dental or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
