Hours:
19 hours per week, with flexibility for less or more hours each week based on need; flexible as to days/times provided the hours are between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday -
Friday Salary:
$24.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
The Human Resources department seeks a University Assistant to assist with the processing of adjunct faculty. This will include the processing of appointment forms, onboarding and hiring adjunct faculty, preparing contracts, processing tuition waivers, processing dual employment forms, responding to employment verification requests, and responding to unemployment compensation claims filed by adjunct faculty. This will require working closely with a Human Resources Associate and collaborating with academic departments and secretaries in processing adjunct faculty. The University Assistant may perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and perform detail-oriented work. Ability to perform duties requiring use of various computer software systems and databases: experience working Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
