This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys: Leading and mentoring administrative staff Building efficient HR systems and processes Working with employee records, audits, and compliance Managing benefits and leave administration Partnering across departments to support employees Making a meaningful impact in a mission-driven organization What You'll Do Human Resources Administration Serve as a key point of contact for employees and HR inquiries Oversee personnel, medical, background, and termination files Manage HR audits and ensure compliance with organizational requirements Coordinate file management and document retention processes Maintain confidential employee information and records Oversee employee background check and credentialing processes Manage HR-related reporting and data collection Process referral bonuses and introductory wage increases Support work visa renewal tracking and communications Benefits & Leave Administration Participate in annual medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits renewals Coordinate open enrollment activities and employee communications Act as a liaison between employees, benefit providers, and the organization Ensure timely benefits enrollment and monthly billing administration Manage FMLA and other leave processes from start to finish Assist with unemployment-related activities for employees on leave Leadership & Supervision Directly supervise: Administrative Assistant Provide coaching, support, and accountability to team members Promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture What We're Looking For Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field Equivalent Experience Considered High School Diploma/GED plus: 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience 1+ year of supervisory experience Ideal Candidate Skills Strong organization and time-management skills Exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Experience maintaining confidential records HRIS and Microsoft Office proficiency Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Team-oriented leadership style Technical Skills Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required Experience with HRIS, payroll, or workforce management systems preferred Comfortable with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other workplace technologies
