Job Description

Position Summary Fitness Ventures is seeking a highly organized, responsive, and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support day-to-day Human Resources operations across a fast-paced, multi-state organization. This role will provide administrative and operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee records, Workday transactions, benefits administration, employment verifications, compliance tracking, and employee inquiries. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, maintaining confidential information, and delivering timely, professional support to employees and leaders. Key Responsibilities Coordinate new-hire onboarding and ensure required employment documents and Workday tasks are completed accurately and timely. Maintain employee records and process personnel changes, including transfers, promotions, job changes, manager changes, and terminations. Respond to routine employee and manager questions regarding HR processes, policies, benefits, payroll, and Workday. Support benefits enrollment, eligibility audits, life-event changes, and employee communications. Assist with employment verifications, unemployment claims, leave documentation, workers' compensation records, and other HR requests. Monitor HR inboxes, track open requests, and escalate complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team member. Maintain accurate job, organizational, location, and employee information within Workday. Support Form I-9 completion, recordkeeping, compliance audits, and required training assignments. Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, employee communications, and other administrative materials. Assist with employee-relations documentation and investigation scheduling while maintaining strict confidentiality. Support HR projects, open enrollment, policy rollouts, organizational changes, and other department initiatives. Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned. Qualifications One to three years of Human Resources, or employee-services or related experience preferred. Working knowledge of common HR processes and employment documentation. Experience with Workday or another HRIS is strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. Customer-service mindset with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels. Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. This individual will help ensure employees and leaders receive consistent, timely HR support while contributing to efficient and compliant HR operations. $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
