Job Description

Summary The Human Resource Administrative Assistant is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations by performing the following duties. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Schedules and organizes activities such as meetings, conferences and department activities for all employees. Handles employment application intake. Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance. Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Assists with new-employee orientations. Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions. Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status. Assists the Director of Human Resources with HR projects. Assists with benefits administration. Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information. Responsible for E-Verify new hires. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. These work areas may occasionally be noisy. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Position Type This is a part-time, Non-Exempt Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED certificate. 2 years administrative experience. Preferred Education and Experience College degree in human resources, hospitality, business administration or similar. Additional Eligibility Qualifications None required for this position. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $48,500.00 per year
