Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in delivering efficient personnel management and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of human resources practices. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team committed to enhancing workforce management and employee well-being. Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition processes, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees. Support employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the organization. Maintain accurate HR records and data entry within HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as UltiPro or Oracle HCM. Aid in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to employee benefits packages. Help coordinate training and development initiatives to promote continuous learning among staff. Contribute to performance management activities by organizing evaluations and tracking employee progress. Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and internal policies through diligent recordkeeping and documentation. Skills Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and HR legal compliance requirements. Experience with recruitment tools such as ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like iCIMS or Lever. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel data analysis for reporting purposes. Familiarity with HR systems including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Dayforce. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff at all levels. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism. Knowledge of employment law in talent management, FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation, and affirmative action planning. Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
