I CLASSIFICATION MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of appropriate experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist with HR functions (e.g., hiring OPS employees on grants), monitors payroll, acts as backup time approver, assists with DS-2019 requests and providing support for international student visa extension requests. Process payroll distributions for grant supported appointments. Assist Department Chair, Administrative Specialist III and Department faculty with Faculty Assignment Reports and effort reporting. Assist with reconciliations each week by working with the Fiscal Assistant III. Research participant and visitor parking pass manager, receptionist for incoming phone calls and walk-in visitors, manage Gator1 ID card authorizations and purchases. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
EXPECTED SALARY
$19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of appropriate experience.
PREFERRED
Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Ability to work independently. Attention to detail.
