Please note, this role is hourly. Hourly rate to be based on experience.
Position Overview:
As Human Resources Coordinator, you will assist the Generalist and Specialist with day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the department. This position assists with onboarding, filing, updating employee records, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable and detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Assist with onboarding newly hired employees and ensure all required documentation is completed. Prepare and organize materials for job fairs, meetings, training sessions, and other HR-related events. Assist employees with general questions regarding payroll, benefits, company policies, time off, and HR procedures. Partner with the Human Resources Specialist to support benefits enrollment, including communicating with newly eligible employees. Monitor the completion of required training, certifications, and other compliance-related requirements. Prepare ad hoc Human Resources reports as requested. Organize, maintain, and update employee records and personnel files. Assist the Human Resources Generalist with employee engagement programs and company initiatives. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion. Support the Human Resources team with additional projects and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:
Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources or a related role required. Previous experience in the restaurant, hospitality, retail, or another high-volume environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Basic knowledge of employment laws, onboarding requirements, and Human Resources best practices. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, managers, and department leaders. Bilingual proficiency is highly preferred.
