Job Description

Job Summary The People Experience Lead is self-motivated, actively engaged with people and demonstrates care, respect and passion for restaurant crew, managers and guests. This candidate provides supervision, audit, innovationand oversight across all of the organization's restaurants. The PEL will be expected to partner and execute the work alongside the HR Manager, General Managers, and extended leadership teams. The individual executes at a high level to build a high-performing team culture. Strong communication skills, and the ability to liaise with peers and leadership to carry out the full range of duties and responsibilities are critical. Principal accountabilities will vary dependent on the needs of the restaurant(s). Job Duties Help execute our people strategy in creating a culture of care in our restaurants Onboarding new employees/ orientation Assist with staffing and talent Management Recognition and employee celebrations Work Environment The working environment will consist of both office and restaurant settings. Hours of work could include early evenings and occasional weekends. Travel is required to visit various restaurants, workshops or development opportunities. Skills and Qualifications A post-secondary education in the Human Resources field and previous restaurant experience are a plus Knowledge of Human Resources Information System, proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and exceptional communication skills Ability to stay current with restaurant's people standards, policies and resources to enhance ability to provide leadership and maximize results Celebrate successes; share expertise, resources and lessons learned Adapt quickly to changing information, situations and direction while not losing momentum Ability to work in high-pressure environments while still maintaining a high level of accuracy Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of cross-functional team Dedicated self-starter who takes initiative on appropriate tasks Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adjust quickly to change Strong attention to detail and timelines Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
