Job Summary A Broward County public-sector elections organization is seeking experienced Data Entry/Advanced Excel professionals to support the Human Resources team during a high-volume election-cycle assignment. This onsite contract opportunity is ideal for detail-driven HR administrative candidates who enjoy working with data, spreadsheets, personnel records, and fast-paced deadlines. In this role, you will help maintain accurate HR, applicant, employee, and temporary workforce information while supporting critical staffing and records needs during a busy operational period. Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume HR data entry, updates, and record maintenance for employees, applicants, and temporary workers.
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets, staffing lists, tracking reports, databases, and electronic HR records.
- Review, verify, compare, and reconcile information across applications, personnel records, spreadsheets, and approved data sources.
- Identify missing information, duplicate records, inconsistencies, and data-entry errors, then communicate issues to HR management.
- Organize, clean, validate, format, and summarize large amounts of HR data for tracking, reporting, and quality control.
- Support additional HR administrative and election-cycle staffing needs as assigned. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $25.00 per hour.

Location:
Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, FL.- Work arrangement: Onsite.
- Anticipated start date: September 21, 2026.
- Positions available: 4.
- Temporary election-cycle assignment.
- Schedule may require extended hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional hours during peak election periods. Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform high-volume HR data entry and maintain accurate employee, applicant, and temporary workforce records.
- Build, update, reconcile, and quality-check Excel tracking reports, staffing lists, and workforce data files.
- Review documentation and identify incomplete, duplicate, inconsistent, or inaccurate information.
- Support deadline-driven HR administrative needs during an election-cycle assignment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including large spreadsheets, sorting and filtering, Excel tables, formulas, functions, lookup and reference tools, conditional formatting, data validation, duplicate identification, spreadsheet comparison, data cleaning, PivotTables, and formula review.
- Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM with accuracy is required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant data entry, HR administration, staffing, records processing, or related administrative experience.
- Strong high-volume data-entry experience with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Ability to review, compare, validate, reconcile, and organize large amounts of data.
- Strong organizational, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee, applicant, and personnel information.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality throughout the full assignment are required.
- Must be available for the full temporary assignment beginning September 21, 2026 and able to accommodate the required election-cycle schedule.
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment criminal background screening and drug screening before starting.
- Must meet candidate eligibility requirements for this assignment, including not having previously completed a temporary assignment with the same election organization unless approved in advance. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Human Resources data entry experience.
- HR administration, staffing administration, recruiting administration, or employee onboarding experience.
- Personnel records, payroll support, or temporary workforce administration experience.
- High-volume records processing experience.
- Government or public-sector administrative experience.
