Job Description
Job Summary The HR Coordinator will support day to day HR operations by handling employee HR ticket inquiries, coordinating new hire onboarding, and processing employment verifications. This role ensures employees receive timely, accurate support on basic HR questions and helps maintain smooth, compliant HR administrative processes. The HR Coordinator will report to the HR Director and works closely with the HR team to escalate more complex issues as needed.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
Education :
High school diploma required; Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.Experience :
2+ years of HR or administrative experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail. Organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS or ticketing systems preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities/essential functions:
The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. 1.Onboarding :
o Coordinate new hire onboarding, including required paperwork, system setup, and orientation logistics. o Serve as a point of contact for new employees during their first days, ensuring a smooth start. 2.HR Ticket Support & Employee Inquiries :
o Respond to and resolve HR ticket inquiries in a timely, professional manner. o Answer basic employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures. o Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the HR Generalist or HR Manager as appropriate. 3.Employment Verifications :
o Process employment verification requests accurately and within established timeframes. o Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times. 4.General Administrative Support :
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation. o Assist with data entry, filing, and other general HR administrative tasks as needed. o Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
