The Recruiting Coordinator will provide essential administrative and operational support to Ameritech's recruiting team, enabling the execution of a streamlined and professional hiring process. This role is responsible for scheduling interviews, managing candidate logistics, coordinating with hiring managers, and ensuring a positive candidate and client experience throughout the recruitment cycle. Essential Functions:
Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers; maintain interview calendars and send confirmations/monitor automatic workflows Prepare and distribute interview materials, job descriptions, and candidate information to hiring teams Maintain recruiting databases and candidate tracking systems; ensure accurate records and timely updates Communicate with candidates regarding interview scheduling and onboarding timelines Collect, review, and organize new hire paperwork; ensure all required documentation is completed and properly filed Prepare interview feedback forms and candidate summary documentation for hiring manager review Assist with job posting distribution and candidate sourcing support as directed Manage subcontractor and temporary staffing logistics and scheduling Support onboarding activities including new hire orientation coordination Miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned by the Lead Recruiter Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at each duty outlined above and have the following knowledge, skills, abilities, and background: Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with recruiting software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and database management Strong PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and all organizational levels Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with documentation and data entry Flexible and adaptable approach to managing workload and priorities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately Customer service mindset with focus on creating positive candidate experience Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Prior experience with recruiting, human resources, or administrative support preferred 18 years of age or older Must be able to pass a drug test Must be able to pass a background check Physical Demands The following physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear Required to use hands to type, handle, or feel objects, tools, and computer controls Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision This is a list of the major responsibilities, duties, and physical demands required of this position and may not be all-inclusive.
