HR Assistant/ Receptionist Job Description Hwashin Georgia Job Title HR Assistant/ Receptionist Department Human Resources Reports To Human Resources Manager Classification Hourly Nonexempt Work Schedule 6:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Starting Pay $16.00 per hour Location Dublin Georgia Employment Type Full Time Position Summary The HR Assistant Receptionist provides administrative support to the Human Resources department while serving as the professional first point of contact for employees, applicants, visitors, vendors, and callers. This position supports daily HR operations, maintains accurate and confidential records, coordinates front-desk activity, and helps ensure a welcoming, organized, and responsive workplace. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet employees, applicants, visitors, vendors, and other guests promptly and professionally; verify the purpose of each visit and notify the appropriate contact.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls; take accurate messages and respond to routine questions in a courteous manner.
- Support recruiting activities by posting openings, scheduling interviews, preparing applicant materials, communicating with candidates, and maintaining recruiting records.
- Assist with new-hire onboarding, including preparing packets, collecting required documents, coordinating orientation, and confirming completion of assigned forms.
- Maintain employee personnel files and electronic HR records in an accurate, orderly, secure, and confidential manner.
- Assist employees with routine questions regarding company policies, attendance, payroll, benefits, forms, and HR procedures; refer complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR representative.
- Prepare letters, notices, reports, spreadsheets, labels, sign-in sheets, and other HR documents as assigned.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries; maintain front-office supplies and keep the reception area clean and organized.
- Issue and track visitor badges or access materials and follow company security and visitor procedures.
- Support employee events, training sessions, meetings, recognition activities, and internal communications.
- Assist with attendance tracking, data entry, filing, copying, scanning, and other administrative duties.
- Protect confidential employee and company information and use sound judgment when handling sensitive matters.
- Follow all company safety rules, policies, procedures, and applicable employment requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or related coursework preferred.
- At least one year of administrative, receptionist, customer service, or human resources experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to learn HR and applicant-tracking systems.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills and a helpful, service-focused attitude.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, time management, and follow-through.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle employee information with discretion. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting an HR department or working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with onboarding, recruiting coordination, employee records, or attendance administration.
- Bilingual English and Korean or English and Spanish language skills are helpful but not required. Core Competencies

- Regularly sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands to operate office equipment.

- Work primarily in an office and reception setting within an active automotive manufacturing facility, with occasional exposure to production-area noise and activity.
- Wear required personal protective equipment when entering designated production areas.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and report to work on time for the assigned schedule.
