HR Recruiting & Compliance Administrator (DOT)

Job Description

Job Summary The HR Recruiting & Compliance Administrator supports the full-cycle recruitment process for DOT-regulated positions, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies. This role coordinates candidate communications, interviews, applicant screenings, and onboarding while maintaining accurate Driver Qualification (DQ) files. The position also assists with employee offboarding and provides general HR administrative support to promote an efficient, compliant, and positive employee experience. Duties Review ATS applications at the DOT standard to ensure each canidate processed is in compliance with FMCSA requirements Coordinate full circle onboarding for the ATS including; conduct interviews, send offer letters, initiate contingencies, enroll in benefit/operational platforms Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants throughout the hiring process, providing timely communication and a positive candidate experience. Facilitate new hire onboarding by preparing employment documentation, coordinating orientation, and ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time. Assist with employee offboarding, including exit documentation, system updates, and personnel file maintenance. Maintain an organized and up-to-date onboarding tracker Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure all required compliance training is completed. Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including DOT and FMCSA requirements. Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting, onboarding, and administrative processes for greater efficiency and compliance. Assist with HR administrative projects, reporting, audits, and other departmental initiatives as assigned. Skills Knowledge of recruiting best practices and full-cycle recruitment processes. Understanding of
DOT/FMCSA
regulations, Driver Qualification (DQ) file requirements, and pre-employment compliance procedures. Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, employees Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams). $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
