Job Description
WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The HR Operations Coordinator provides critical Human Resources support within a dynamic manufacturing environment, helping to strengthen an inclusive, safe, and high performing workplace. Partners closely with front line employees, supervisors, and HR leadership to execute HR processes, support employee relations, and ensure compliance. Aligned with Saint-Gobain's Purpose and Values and grounded in our TEC culture, this role strengthens a workplace where employees are trusted, empowered, and collaborative, and where HR processes operate with rigor, fairness, and integrity. Key Accountabilities HR Administration- Assist day to day HR administrative operations including personnel changes, documentation, data entry, HRIS updates, and file maintenance.
- Ensure that all HR processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with Saint-Gobain policies. Attention to Detail & Data Accuracy
- Maintain a high standard of data accuracy within HR systems, timekeeping tools, and personnel records.
- Audit information routinely to ensure compliance, completeness, and quality.
- Uphold the Saint-Gobain value of integrity by delivering precise, reliable data that supports sound decision making. Employee Service
- Provide support to employees and supervisors, addressing questions promptly and respectfully.
- Model TEC principles by building trust, empowering employees with clear information, and collaborating to resolve issues.
- Help reinforce a positive employee experience that supports engagement and retention.
- Participates in Gemba walks, EH&S initiatives and WCM activities, alongside the HR Manager. Policy & Procedure Knowledge
- Serve as a resource for supporting Saint-Gobain policies, plant procedures, and HR guidelines.
- Provide clear explanations to employees and leaders to ensure consistent and fair application.
- Support policy updates and communication rollouts with clarity and professionalism. Recruiting
- Coordinate hourly and early career salaried hiring activities including posting roles, scheduling interviews, screening candidates, and processing offer steps.
- Facilitate onboarding activities, ensuring a welcoming and thorough new hire experience.
- Promote Saint-Gobain's values throughout the hiring process, reinforcing our culture of trust, empowerment, and collaboration.
Additional:
- Draft clear, professional communications including employee notices, onboarding materials, announcements, and process updates.
- Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment using sound judgment and a strong sense of responsibility. Collaborate cross functionally to share accurate, timely information.
- Manage a high-volume workload with competing priorities, using sound judgment and proactive planning.
- Anticipate plant needs and respond with urgency when operational issues arise.
- Demonstrate independence and reliability while supporting plant HR and operations leadership.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred 1+ year of Human Resources experience preferred, ideally within a manufacturing environment 1+ year of administrative experience required Strong working knowledge of HR processes, data accuracy standards, and basic compliance concepts Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and supporting multiple sites Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced plant environment Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred but not requiredA LITTLE MORE ABOUT US
