Opportunity:
The Human Resources Intern position is a temporary role for a student pursuing an education and career in Human Resources. The individual in this role will gain exposure to standard Human Resources processes and systems through working on assigned projects.
Location:
Thomasville, GA Responsibilities:
Support the site Human Resources Manager with a variety of administrative Human Resources tasks including personnel file creation and maintenance Assist with changing/updating Human Resources documents Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive employee data and documents Track and document employment related data such as training records Provide Human Resources support through administrative activities Assist in conducting proactive data audits and correct any findings Other job-related tasks assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Current enrollment in or graduation from a degree/certificate program for a related field Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. Must be able to perform work subject to
ITAR/EAR
regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of introductory coursework in Human Resources Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Working Conditions This individual will spend most of their time working within an air-conditioned office but may spend some time on the production floor Frequent activities: sitting, typing, talking/listening, walking, reading Occasional activities: lifting up to 15 lbs.
