Job Description

Human Resources Administrator We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrator to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in supporting our HR department's daily operations and ensuring smooth administration of employee-related processes. The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while providing exceptional service to our employees and management team. Responsibilities Maintain and update employee records ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations Process new hire paperwork, including employment verifications, background checks, and onboarding documentation Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including scheduling orientations and conducting exit interviews Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries Assist with payroll processing by collecting and verifying timesheets, attendance records, and leave requests Prepare HR-related correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records for all employees Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs Assist with performance management processes, including tracking review cycles and maintaining documentation Support workplace safety initiatives and maintain required safety documentation Process employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations Organize and maintain physical and electronic HR files in accordance with retention policies Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as assigned Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources or administrative support role Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law Proficiency with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work product Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills Problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in decision-making Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment We offer a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization.
