This position plays an important role in supporting BBH's recruiting, onboarding, staff readiness, and ongoing employee requirements. The Staff Development Coordinator will help keep applicants and new hires moving through each step of the process while ensuring documents, clearances, training requirements, and deadlines are completed and tracked. This role will also support center organization, materials, and other departments during slower recruiting and onboarding periods. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities while also being flexible and willing to jump in where needed. Responsibilities Recruiting & Candidate Support Manage and maintain the applicant pipeline Review and screen applicants Conduct first interviews Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process Coordinate candidates moving forward for second/final interviews Maintain communication and follow-up throughout the recruiting process Assist with Indeed recruiting and job postings Onboarding & Staff Readiness Coordinate new-hire onboarding from accepted offer through employee readiness Track placement-specific onboarding requirements Coordinate required clearances and documentation Coordinate new-hire training Track employee readiness prior to placement Maintain ongoing employee documents, training requirements, certifications, and expiration dates Follow up with employees regarding missing or upcoming requirements Communicate across departments to ensure onboarding and placement needs are completed Center & Operational Support Prepare new-hire stimuli and materials Create and organize stimuli and other staff materials Support center readiness and organization Assist with maintaining documents and internal resources Support other departments and operational needs when recruiting and onboarding demands are lower Skills We're Looking For The right person for this position is: Organized and able to keep track of multiple deadlines and moving pieces Dependable and consistent A self-starter who can work independently A quick learner who is comfortable learning new systems and processes Flexible and adaptable as company needs change Comfortable receiving and applying feedback Professional and confident communicating with applicants, employees, and leadership Able to communicate effectively across multiple departments Comfortable handling confidential applicant and employee information Willing to support areas outside of their primary responsibilities when needed Able to recognize when something needs to be escalated to leadership rather than handled independently Technology & Administrative Skills Applicants should be comfortable using or learning: Google Workspace Indeed Canva Email and electronic communication Electronic document management Spreadsheets and tracking systems Online training and onboarding platforms Strong organization and computer skills are important for this position. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent required College degree preferred, but not required Behavioral health experience preferred, but not required Recruiting or hiring experience preferred, but not required Must be able to pass required background checks and clearances Reliable transportation required Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds Ability to work in person Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Role Structure The Staff Development Coordinator will have ownership of the day-to-day recruiting, applicant communication, onboarding coordination, staff readiness, and tracking processes. Leadership will maintain oversight of overall staffing needs, candidates moving into final consideration, second/final interviews, final hiring decisions, compensation, employee placement, and significant onboarding or clearance concerns. Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM $18.00-$23.00/hour, depending on experience In-Person |
