This role has a strong payroll focus and is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the payroll process while also supporting recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and overall HR operations. The successful candidate will bring hands-on payroll experience, a strong understanding of employment compliance, and a passion for supporting employees across the organization. Key Responsibilities Payroll & Compliance Process and administer multi-entity payroll accurately and on time. Maintain payroll records, reporting, and reconciliations. Complete payroll-related reporting and documentation for external agencies and benefit providers. Prepare and file payroll tax reports and employment-related filings. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Coordinate year-end payroll reporting, including W-2s and 1099s. Recruiting & Employee Lifecycle Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, resume review, interview coordination, and candidate communication. Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation. Maintain employee records and HR documentation. Manage employee offboarding and separation processes. Benefits & Workers' Compensation Administer employee benefit programs and annual open enrollment. Serve as a resource for employee benefit questions and changes. Coordinate workers' compensation reporting and claims administration. Employee Relations & HR Support Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers. Provide guidance regarding company policies, procedures, and HR best practices. Assist with employee relations matters and performance-related discussions. Prepare and distribute internal HR communications. Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.

1 week paid time off and paid holidays Qualifications 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience. Hands-on payroll processing experience required Knowledge of payroll compliance, payroll taxes, and employment laws. Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and payroll/HR systems. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
