Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic human resources team. This role is essential in supporting various HR functions, including personnel administration, employee relations, and compliance management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of human resources operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to organizational effectiveness through efficient HR processes and strategic support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with talent acquisition activities, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews Support onboarding and employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems such as HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) Coordinate benefits administration processes and assist employees with inquiries related to benefits packages Contribute to performance management initiatives by supporting employee evaluation procedures Assist with compliance activities related to employment law, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), and affirmative action planning Support workforce management efforts through data collection, reporting, and Excel data analysis Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism Participate in project management tasks related to HR initiatives such as succession planning and organizational design Facilitate communication between departments to promote positive employee relations
Skills:
Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data analysis Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders at all levels Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and personnel administration Ability to handle conflict management situations professionally and discreetly Knowledge of recruiting strategies, HR sourcing techniques, and applicant tracking systems (ATS) Understanding of workers' compensation procedures and human capital management principles This position is a paid opportunity designed for individuals eager to develop their career within human resources. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
