Job Description

Description:
The purpose of this position is to support the Human Resources Department, Maintenance Department and Manufacturing Operations in a professional manner. This position must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding all duties supported. Assisting with recruitment, including on/off boarding to ensure smooth transition of new hires, deliver orientation safety/HR training as needed Employee engagement, including employee events and celebrations Maintain employee electronic files Administer service awards program Communicate with customers (internal & external), as needed, to inform of delivery status of parts ordered/received Process UPS & FedEx packages Obtain quotes from suppliers, as needed Update department KPI's timely Manage ACD process (add/change/delete) to the parts crib Update Manager's Plus system (maintenance work order system) Update bulletin boards as needed
General Safety Experience Preferred:
Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification Data entry such as tracking training, One-Point Lessons, etc. Assist in tracking safety shoe & safety glasses program Assist in hearing conservation - annual testing Maintain accurate first aid supplies inventory
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (degree preferred) 3+ years' experience in a professional office setting performing multiple administrative duties (manufacturing office setting preferred) Excellent data entry skills with speed and precision Greeting customers Excellent professional interpersonal and customer relationship skills Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills Ability to multi-task with excellent follow through skills Good computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook) Knowledge of CMS (AS400) or similar system Proficient in charting and graphing data CPR/First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain within six months of employment PK is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package.
