The Human Resource Assistant provides recruiting, onboarding, administrative, and accounting support by coordinating hiring activities, processing new hire documentation, maintaining records, and supporting daily office operations. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, responding to employment inquiries, candidate calls, and recruiting-related questions.

Conduct candidate pre-screenings, review applications, and coordinate interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and leadership to support an efficient hiring process and positive candidate experience.

Manage all aspects of the new hire onboarding process, including employment documentation, I-9 verification, new hire setup, employee record maintenance, and resolution of onboarding-related questions and issues.

Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate new hire orientations in partnership with Safety and other internal stakeholders.

Support HR functions through employee record management, compliance documentation, onboarding administration, and other workforce initiatives as needed.

Perform accounting data entry and related clerical functions, including invoice processing, expense reporting support, and serving as a backup for Concur.

Coordinate office administration, including calendar management, meeting planning, travel arrangements, office supply ordering, and maintaining organized filing and tracking systems

Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership What You'll Have High School diploma or GED

2+ years of experience in office administration, or a related role.

Experience supporting the hiring process, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.

Knowledge of onboarding processes, employment documentation, and I-9 verification requirements.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast paced environment
