Job Description

Summer Human Resources Intern Position Summary The Summer Human Resources Intern will assist the Human Resources department with records digitization project. This position is responsible for scanning, organizing, and electronically filling employee documents while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with record retention requirements. The intern will gain exposure to HR Operations and document management practices while supporting critical department initiative.
Candidate Profile Reference:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Scan employee personnel files and HR documents into electronic record systems. Organize, label, and index electronic employee files for easy retrieval. Review sanned documents for accuracy, completeness, and image quality. Assist with audting personnel files to identify missing or incomplete documentation. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Prepare paper records for scanning, filing, storage, or shredding as directed. Perform data entry and document management tasks to support HR projects. Assist with general administrative duties within the HR department as needed. Qualifications Current college student or recent graduate preferred. Interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a professional office environment. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move boxes of files weighing up to 25 pounds. Frequent use of computers, scanners and other office equipment.
