Company Description Right at Home Acadiana, serving the Lafayette, LA area, provides personalized in-home care and support for individuals who need help with daily living, recovery after a hospital stay, or one-on-one assistance in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. The organization is committed to delivering "Right Care" wherever home is, focusing on safety, comfort, and dignity for each client. Caregivers receive specialized training to deliver services tailored to each person's unique needs. As clients' needs change, care plans are adjusted to ensure consistent, high-quality care and peace of mind for families. Role Description The Recruitment Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lafayette, LA, responsible for supporting the hiring and onboarding of caregivers and other staff. This role manages job postings, screens applications, schedules and conducts initial interviews, and coordinates follow-up communication with candidates. The Recruitment Coordinator collaborates with management to understand staffing needs and maintains candidate records and documentation. Daily responsibilities include responding to applicant inquiries, ensuring a positive candidate experience, assisting with orientation logistics, and supporting ongoing recruitment initiatives to maintain an adequate caregiver workforce. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders. Experience with hiring processes and interviewing to effectively identify and select qualified caregivers and staff. Clear verbal and written communication skills to manage candidate outreach, scheduling, and documentation. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple openings, deadlines, and recruitment activities. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or basic HR software is beneficial. Knowledge of or interest in home care, senior care, or healthcare services is a plus. Ability to explore systems and look for improvements, optimization, and streamlining processes. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred. Ability to work on-site in Lafayette, LA and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Pay:
$24.66 - $29.70 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
