Job Description
SummaryThis position supports Montserrats Creative Employment Initiative by assisting with HR administrative tasks like onboarding and hiring, filing and organizing paperwork, posting jobs, writing monthly grant reports, and checking ADP payroll timecards for accuracy.
This is a part-time position - approximately 15 hours per week. Because this position assists with payroll, the 15 hours per week would generally be spent working on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Specific duties include:
Produce reports on student workers for grant reporting and statistical analysis;General HR payroll and administrative support;Assist with the onboarding process for new student employees, including student employment contracts (Docusign) and onboarding into our payroll system (ADP);Check timecards against student course schedules;Organized and file HR paperwork;Post student employment job opportunities;Other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Abilities)
Self-motivated, works well independently on individual projects.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Ability to problem solve and work effectively without direct supervision.
Ability to work in an independent and proactive manner to meet goals and expectations.

Education:
Bachelors DegreeExperience:
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite of productsFamiliarity with ADP or other human resource information systems preferred, but training is availableCommunication/Professionalism:
Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to quality teamwork.Self-motivated, works well independently on individual projects.
Complexity and Organization:
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Excellent organizational skills.
