We're making it something you own. We have developed an inference engine and memory architecture that breaks the economics keeping frontier models trapped in datacenters. On top of that, we're building a platform of models, applications, and services that give that hardware purpose. Personal AI is moving from the datacenter to the desk, and we are driving that change. Based in Cambridge, MA. Who we're looking for Organized and detail-oriented: You can manage multiple priorities, track deadlines, and keep records accurate without letting important details slip.
Discreet and trustworthy:
You understand the importance of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee, compensation, and personnel information.
Proactive and resourceful:
You anticipate needs, take ownership of tasks, and look for ways to solve problems rather than waiting for instructions.
Comfortable in a fast-moving startup:
You're resourceful, adaptable, and able to establish structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
Comfortable enforcing rules:
You're willing to address uncomfortable situations, communicate when expectations aren't being met, and follow through rather than avoid conflict. What you'll do Coordinate onboarding and offboarding: Manage offer documentation, background check coordination, new hire paperwork, onboarding schedules, equipment logistics, and offboarding checklists to create a smooth employee experience.
Own HR administration:
Maintain accurate employee records, update HR systems, organize personnel files, and ensure documentation is complete, confidential, and up to date. Serve as a point of contact for employees: Respond to routine HR questions, help employees navigate company policies and benefits, and escalate sensitive or complex matters appropriately.
Support benefits and payroll administration:
Assist with benefits enrollment, payroll inputs, employee data changes, and coordination with external providers to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Own day-to-day office policy enforcement:
Ensure employees understand and follow established company policies, office procedures, and workplace expectations.
Maintain workplace standards:
Monitor and address issues related to punctuality, attendance procedures, shared spaces, cleanliness, meeting-room use, noise levels, security, and other agreed-upon office norms.
Address policy violations directly:
Communicate expectations clearly, provide appropriate reminders, document recurring issues, and follow up to ensure concerns are resolved.
Build scalable people processes:
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, document standard operating procedures, and introduce tools and systems that reduce administrative friction as the company grows.
Support company culture and engagement:
Help coordinate team events, employee communications, and other initiatives that strengthen connection and contribute to a positive workplace. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in HR coordination, people operations, recruiting coordination, office administration, or a related role. Familiarity with employee lifecycle processes, HR documentation, onboarding, and benefits administration. Experience with HR platforms, applicant tracking systems, payroll tools, or other business software is a plus. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is welcome. Willingness to work in person at our Cambridge, MA office. At this time, we are only looking for applicants who can start in-person, full-time work immediately (within 4 weeks).
