Assist in the daily functions within the Human Resources and Facility Maintenance Departments.
JOB DUTIES
Ensure all onsite training is tracked and traceable, including staying current on employee rosters, and providing reports as needed. Upload and save daily preventative maintenance checklists. Support and track completion of weekly EHS audits. Attend and participate in Safety Committee meetings. Administer Workers Compensation claims as directed by the HR Manager. Support Earnings Improvement Program (EIP) by ensuring at least minimum number of plant-wide suggestions are provided and entered EIP tracking system. Provide updates for all projects monthly. Work in conjunction with Plant Manager and HR Manager. Manage the site's inventory of PPE supplies and uniforms. Assist with employee engagement and recognition programs. Organize plant wide employee appreciation celebrations. Support the safety programs with weekly communication and record all trainings. Work with the HR Manager to complete new hire onboarding requirements. Maintain the library of EHS work instructions, forms and policies including frequent review and improvement of such documents at the EHS Director's discretion. Assist with requesting temporary workers and coordinate with the staffing agencies. Maintain the Vacation and Sick Time Tracker. Update Lock Out Tag Out in the Maintenance database and update the binder. Change and add PPE vending access and PPE allotments. Add and/or remove employee key cards for access to the building and PPE vending machines. Organize Maintenance Part Room and bar code the parts. Assist the Plant Manager, HR Manager and Maintenance Manager with other administrative duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required) Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business preferred. Prior experience with Health & Safety Administration. Ability to think ahead, plan and prepare action plans to achieve results. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good attention to detail. Strict confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
