Job Description

Overview:
Join our Human Resources team and help take care of the people who take care of our guests. As HR Coordinator, you'll be the friendly face and steady hand behind onboarding, team member records, safety/worker's comp support, and the events and work perks that keep resort culture strong. You'll report to the VP of Human Resources and work closely with managers and team members across the mountain. This is a benefit-eligible FLEX (extended seasonal) position that typically works 9-11 months each year, averaging more than 30 hours per week. It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking for meaningful HR experience with a predictable seasonal break while remaining part of the Sunday River team.
Responsibilities:
Guide new and returning team members through hiring and onboarding — including I-9 tracking — so their first experience with Sunday River feels smooth and welcoming Keep our HRIS accurate and up to date, partnering with hiring managers along the way Support workers' comp tracking and case management Help draft and post updates to policies, procedures, and internal communications Bring energy to team member events & recognition programs, and lend a helping hand during resort events busy periods Keep HR materials fresh, organized, correct, and compliant
Qualifications:
Strong Microsoft Office skills: a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine respect for confidentiality Great communication and a guest-service mindset A willingness to learn new systems — experience with UKG, RTP, or Predictive Index is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Comfort juggling multiple priorities with a smile Some combination of education and experience will be considered — we're looking for the right person, not a checklist. Must be willing to complete a background check Compensation & Benefits Wage range of $23 to $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with room for professional growth and advancement.
