Chief Operating Officer Join a Fast-Growing Organization Where You Can Build a Career Vital Health Management is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our team. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and plays a vital role in supporting our employees, strengthening our workplace culture, and helping shape the future of Human Resources within our growing organization. This is more than a traditional HR position. What You'll Do:
Employee Relations Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers. Assist with workplace conflict resolution and employee relations matters. Support supervisors with coaching, performance management, corrective action, and difficult conversations. Foster a positive, respectful, and professional workplace culture. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information. Escalate significant employee relations matters to executive leadership when appropriate. Policies & Compliance Develop, update, and maintain company policies and procedures. Ensure policies are communicated clearly and enforced consistently throughout the organization. Assist leadership with policy interpretation and implementation. Maintain employee handbook revisions and policy acknowledgments. Help ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and organizational standards. Onboarding & Employee Development Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation. Lead annual employee re-orientation and policy reviews. Ensure all required employment documentation is completed and maintained. Coordinate onboarding activities and help create an exceptional new hire experience. Support employee engagement and professional development initiatives. Human Resources Administration Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files. Track required training, licenses, certifications, and employee documentation. Prepare HR correspondence, employment letters, corrective actions, and other documentation. Assist with recruitment, applicant screening, interview coordination, and hiring activities. Coordinate employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and separations. Conduct exit interviews when appropriate. Maintain HR reports, trackers, and records. Administrative Support Provide administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer as needed. Assist with organizational initiatives and special projects. Help improve internal processes and operational efficiency. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Business Administration (HR concentration), or a closely related field. Passion for Human Resources and employee development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Strong written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Suite and common office technology. Preferred 1-3 years of Human Resources experience. Experience conducting employee onboarding and orientation. Experience with employee relations, performance management, and corrective action. Experience maintaining personnel records and HR documentation. Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Experience in healthcare or behavioral health is a plus. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or interest in pursuing professional HR certification is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Salary:
