Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Employee Services Generalist to join our team and support our growing construction workforce. This role is responsible for managing key employee service functions, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll processing, benefits enrollment, FMLA administration, compliance reporting, employee asset management, and insurance audits. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with both field and office employees to support operational success while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional employee service. Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for office and field positions. Create and post job openings on recruitment platforms. Screen applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates. Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Employee Onboarding & Asset Management Coordinate all new hire onboarding activities and documentation. Process employment paperwork and required compliance forms. Conduct new employee orientation and introduction to company policies and procedures. Maintain employee personnel files and records. Track and manage company-issued assets, including laptops, tablets, mobile phones, key cards, vehicles, and other equipment. Coordinate recovery of company assets during employee separations. Benefits Enrollment Administration Coordinate employee enrollments for health, dental, vision, life, and retirement plans. Provide employees with enrollment information and required forms. Assist with annual open enrollment activities. Payroll Administration Process accurate and timely weekly payroll for office and field employees. Review timesheets and payroll data for completeness and accuracy. Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries. Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation. Certified Payroll Administration Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for prevailing wage and government-funded projects. Verify wage classifications and payroll compliance requirements. Maintain records and supporting documentation for certified payroll reporting. Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to obtain necessary information. Compliance, Audits & Reporting Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Coordinate and prepare documentation for workers' compensation insurance audits. Coordinate and prepare documentation for general liability insurance audits. Compile payroll and workforce information as required for audit requests. Support Safe Harbor 401(k) audit and compliance activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources, Employee Services, Payroll, or related experience. Experience with recruiting, employee onboarding, payroll processing, and employee administration. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA and leave administration requirements. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information with discretion. HR certification - SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR

•Employees holding an HR certification are expected to maintain their credential in good standing throughout employment. Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources, Employee Services, Payroll, or related experience. Experience with recruiting, employee onboarding, payroll processing, and employee administration. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA and leave administration requirements. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information with discretion. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with employees, managers, benefit providers, auditors, and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, subcontracting, skilled trades, or manufacturing industries. Experience processing certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting. Experience supporting workers' compensation, general liability, and Safe Harbor 401(k) audits. Knowledge of benefits enrollment processes and employee asset management.

Compensation:
Competitive Pay:

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
