Human Resources | Porter Hills Village How You'll Make an Impact As a Part-Time HR Assistant, you'll help create a positive and seamless experience for team members by supporting key human resources processes. From assisting with recruiting and onboarding to maintaining employee records and responding to team member inquiries, you'll play an important role in keeping our HR operations organized, efficient, and focused on delivering exceptional service. Department Admin Employment Type Part Time Location Grand Rapids, MI Workplace type Onsite Key Responsibilities Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire digital records, orientation support, and team member record updates. Provide support and assistance with appointments at the fingerprinting kiosk. Maintain accurate and confidential team member files and HRIS records. Respond to routine team member questions regarding policies and HR procedures. Assist with team member communications. Prepare HR reports, documents, and correspondence as needed. Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Collaborate with HR team members to ensure accurate team member information and records. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Comfortable learning and using technology, including Microsoft 365 and other business software applications. Strong communication and customer service skills. Nice to Have Certificate or Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in Human Resources, customer service, hospitality, or another people-focused environment. Experience supporting employee onboarding, records management, or administrative processes.
