Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in fostering a positive, compliant, and efficient workplace environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a comprehensive understanding of human resources functions, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with professionalism. This full time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to workforce management and employee development within a dynamic healthcare setting. Duties 1) Coordinates completing references and scheduling drug screenings for potential new hires 2) Assist with New Hire Process tasks 3) Complete monthly Social Security Verification Check 4) Complete Monthly OIG report 5) Distribute monthly reports- address, phone listing, etc. 6) Assist with healthstream/ e-learning projects 7) Assist with maintaining personnel files and various filing projects 8) Maintain new hire packets 9) Coordinate monthly New Hire Orientation program 10) Mail out correspondence - COBRA, FMLA, general mailings 11) Post and remove job postings 12) Ensure HR forms by time clocks are updated and available 13) Provide administrative support for HR Coordinators and Chief Human Resources Officer 14) Coordinate scheduled meetings with American Fidelity/ Mass Mutual/ MERS Representatives 15) May assist with taking meeting minutes/ assisting with projects for other departments 16) Coordinate and review licenses and certifications that are due and notify supervisor and employee when they may be expiring 17) May assist with marketing events such as the annual golf outing, flower sales, Hooping for a Cure game, etc. 18) Any other duty assigned by the CHRO Experience Previous experience working within an HR department or in personnel administration is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Strong communication skills coupled with conflict management abilities are essential for fostering positive employee relations.
