Position Summary:
The GlenFields Receptionist and Staffing Assistant serves as a primary point of contact for residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff while providing administrative and staffing support to ensure efficient facility operations. This position is responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment, managing incoming communications, coordinating employee schedules, assisting with staffing coverage, and supporting the Nursing Administration team. This role will also provide back-up coverage for the GlenFields Coordinator, assisting with resident appointment scheduling and transportation needs.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, staffing coordinator, scheduler, or in a related administrative role. Experience working in healthcare, long-term care, or senior living environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred. Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably PointClickCare. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Maintain a positive, professional, and resident-centered approach in all interactions. Supports GRH mission, vision and CARES values.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their hourly range. Wages are just one part of our employee compensation package.
