Job Description

Accounting & HR Administrator Full-Time | On-Site | Twin Cities Metro Area $60,000 - $75,000 Pathway Talent Partners is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Accounting & HR Administrator . This individual will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day accounting, payroll, human resources, and administrative functions of the business. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys keeping operations organized, accurate, and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning the details, solving problems independently, and serving as a trusted resource across multiple areas of the organization. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Manage accounts payable from invoice receipt through approval, entry, and payment processing Oversee accounts receivable, customer payments, deposits, credits, and account reconciliations Process vendor payments via ACH, credit card, and check Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare journal entries as needed Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Assist with month-end close activities and ensure transactions are recorded in the appropriate accounting periods Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation Work within the company ERP system to ensure jobs, invoices, payments, and financial data are properly recorded Assist with sales and use tax filings and other routine reporting requirements Coordinate with ownership and external accounting partners as needed Payroll & Benefits Administration Coordinate bi-weekly payroll processing, including special and bonus payrolls Review payroll reports for accuracy before final processing Record payroll-related activity, including taxes, benefits, retirement contributions, and related expenses Maintain PTO balances and employee payroll records Support administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and pre-tax benefit programs Process employee enrollments, changes, and benefit updates Human Resources Maintain employee records and personnel files Coordinate onboarding, new-hire paperwork, and employee status changes Manage termination and offboarding documentation Maintain HR policies, acknowledgments, and compliance-related records Support managers with attendance tracking, PTO administration, employee documentation, and routine HR inquiries Coordinate with external HR and legal resources when appropriate Handle sensitive employee and company information with a high degree of confidentiality Office & Administrative Support Maintain vendor, customer, insurance, and compliance documentation Assist with insurance renewals and related administrative processes Respond to routine customer, vendor, and internal administrative inquiries Track recurring deadlines, filings, renewals, and compliance requirements Proactively identify issues and ensure timely resolution Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting administration experience Experience supporting multiple business functions in a small or mid-sized organization Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger processes Experience with payroll and HR administration preferred Manufacturing industry experience is a plus ERP system experience preferred
