Responsibilities - What you'll do Exercises independent judgment and action in the performance of duties under general supervision. Performs functions requiring the application of expertise relating to human resources/personnel/payroll, including but not limited to: Disseminating information regarding employee benefits, informing employees of agency policies and procedures, and advising/assisting administration, supervisors, and staff on personnel related issues. Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and processing of a variety of payroll and personnel transactions (i.e., contact information, deductions, tax withholdings, supervisory changes, etc.) into the payroll system and ensuring compliance with agency policies as well as state and federal laws.
