Kearney, Springfield, MO 65803) Why you'll love this position: The human resources intern performs routine entry-level activities in regards to researching and developing recommendations concerning routine personnel programs and policies, and serves in an advisory capacity in standard human resources related activities. Responsibilities are performed under direct supervision. Responsibilities - What you'll do Recruit and pre-screen applicants, including affirmative action recruiting; provide general assistance to supervisors on the interviewing/hiring process and the promotion or transfer of current employees to authorized vacancies. Provide information on current policies, procedures, and guidelines as needed, assist supervisors on matters related to the administrative of personnel policies, regulations, and department programs to ensure uniform compliance. Conduct job analysis on new or existing jobs; formulate recommendations on placement of the job within the salary structure; create reports using internal data systems. Collect, research, summarize, and provide routine analysis of information and data related to personnel policies and human resources programs; prepare responses to questions or requests for information of limited complexity. Review information, data, and forms related to equal employment opportunity and affirmative action requirements; compile data necessary for monitoring compliance and prepare related reports. Conduct compliance training and employee orientation programs. Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned. Qualifications - All you need for success Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or post-bachelor's degree program full-time (12+ credit hours). 30 credit hours completed/accepted toward current degree program. High school or other postsecondary program credits must be shown to be accepted by the current program through a degree transcript to apply. Possess and maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent.
