HR Coordinator Temp-to-Hire | Durham, NH Are you an HR professional looking for an opportunity where you can make an immediate impact and be part of a growing team? We're working with a growing company in Durham, NH that is looking to add an HR Coordinator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of HR experience who enjoys a hands-on, varied role and is comfortable jumping in, learning new processes, and supporting employees across a multi-location organization What You'll Be Doing Review weekly timekeeping and attendance and follow up on discrepancies with managers. Assist with payroll administration, including PTO, deductions, garnishments, and related documentation. Maintain employee records, personnel files, new hire paperwork, and separation documentation. Prepare and update HR reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and data for leadership review. Monitor and manage the HR shared inbox, routing questions and documentation appropriately. Maintain both digital and physical HR files and assist with the transition to paperless records. Support workers' compensation, compliance tracking, certifications, incident reports, and other HR processes. Process incoming and outgoing mail, UPS/USPS shipments, checks, and other HR-related correspondence. Assist with offers, resignations, payroll preparation, employee complaints, and other employee lifecycle activities. Coordinate scanning, digital filing, physical file management, and confidential document shredding. Provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist with special projects as needed. What We're Looking For 2+ years of HR experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Specialist, or similar role. 1+ year of payroll or timekeeping experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and detailed employee information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. A team player who is comfortable jumping in, learning quickly, and hitting the ground running.
