Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements. Maintains strict confidentiality of all employee data and issues arriving at the HR office. Performs administrative functions of HR, including attendance, payroll, ID badges, etc. Delivers accurate and timely feedback to employees regarding any inquiries made. Prepares and processes employee documentation - assists with/prepares correspondence, prepares new employee files, processes mail. Maintains personnel records (hard copy, HRIS, and electronic); Ensures that information is current. Helps the HR Department coordinate and organize employee events throughout the year. Fosters Company culture through constant contact with employees - Intakes and routes employees' issues, escalating problematic issues to higher-level management. Routes phone calls to the appropriate parties. Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Office/HR roles. Bilingual - Spanish/English preferred. Knowledge of office administration procedures and computer systems (Word, Excel, Ultipro, and Kronos). Ability to build and maintain effective relationships. Effective communication skills, both oral and written; Edits/proofs work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and can read and interpret written information. Attention to detail in composing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills - Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.
