Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations for an automotive organization in Raleigh, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to contribute to high-volume employee administration, onboarding coordination, and payroll-related updates in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, accuracy in handling sensitive records, and the flexibility to manage shifting priorities throughout the workweek.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and organize the shared HR inbox, ensuring employee requests and internal inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.
  • Process a high volume of onboarding activities and confirm new employee records are completed in the system within required timelines.
  • Update employee payroll-related information, including direct deposit details and federal or state tax withholding changes, while meeting weekly deadlines.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR matters with professionalism, clarity, and a service-focused approach.
  • Administer garnishment and child support updates with careful attention to compliance and documentation requirements.
  • Generate and review reports as needed to support HR operations, workforce tracking, and administrative follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems, including Workforce and Phenom tools used for onboarding and record management.
  • Balance competing priorities by addressing payroll-impacting updates first while continuing to support ongoing onboarding volume.
